How it works

  1. 1Plain letters are swapped for Unicode letters that look alike, such as bold, script or small caps. The result is still plain text, so it copies and pastes.
  2. 2Symbols such as ꧁ ꧂, 『 』 or 乂 are added before and after the name.
  3. 3Characters are counted one per visible letter, since games usually cap nickname length.
  4. 4Everything happens in your browser. The name you type isn't sent anywhere.

Common questions

Why do some letters show up as boxes or question marks in my game?

Not every game has a font for every Unicode symbol. If letters turn into boxes, try another style. Bold, small caps and simple symbols are usually the safest.

Can I use these in Free Fire and Mobile Legends?

Many work, but each game has its own rules on name length and allowed symbols. Copy it, paste it into the rename field and check the preview before using a rename card.

Do I need an item to change my nickname?

In many games, yes. Free Fire and Mobile Legends use a rename card or diamonds. Make sure the nickname shows correctly before you use one.
